How U.S. Tariffs Will Affect Incontrol Diapers: Important Update

Trade dynamics between the United States and Canada are changing with the introduction of new Trump tariffs. As the situation continues to develop, this post will be updated with the latest information about how these tariffs might impact our customers.

Most Recent Update:

Due to the potential reinstatement of US/Canadian tariffs, Incontrol will be limited shipping methods to the USA to help reduce the risk of additional charges at the border. These shipping limitations will take affect on February 28th, 2025 and include: 

• Non-Express Shipping and Free Shipping methods will be disabled (including Canada Post). 
• Flat Rate Express Shipping ($9.99) will continue. 

We will continue monitoring the evolving situation and adjust precautions as needed. To avoid any potential customs fees, we strongly recommend placing your order before February 28th.

Prime Minister Trudeau and President Trump had a meeting on February 3, 2025 to explore the possibility of stopping these tariffs from taking effect.

The imposed tariffs have been pushed for at least 30 days.

This pause includes the new Trump Tariffs and halts Canada’s retaliation – by implementing its own tariffs and bans on U.S. alcohol sales north of the border. We hope the tariffs (on both sides) will be dropped in the next few weeks before a continental trade war occurs.

Update: All Tariffs have been paused for the next 30 days. This might change in March.
The U.S. government announced new tariffs on all imports, affecting cross-border trade with Canada. We are monitoring the potential impact this unfolding situation might have on our products.
